What we do

Three services, one studio.

Most of what we do is websites — built, hosted and maintained. Content creation keeps them fed. And we build our own software, which is why the sites aren't templates.

01 — CORE

Websites

Built from scratch, hosted by us, and kept up to date on a monthly plan. Fast, mobile-first, and written to be found — not a page builder with your logo dropped in.

  • 4–5 page business sites, scaling up from there
  • Hosting, SSL and backups included in maintenance
  • Booking calendars that sync to Google Calendar
  • FAQ chatbots that hand off to a real person
  • Monthly SEO updates on the higher plans
From $599 build · $149/mo upkeep
02 — ADD-ON

Content creation

Photo and video shot for the site and for social, edited and posted on a schedule. Available as an add-on to any build, scoped and quoted around what you actually need shot.

  • Photo and video for the site itself
  • Short-form video and social posts
  • Posts synced from social straight onto your site
  • Google reviews pulled in and kept fresh
Quoted per scope with your build
03 — STUDIO

Software

We build and ship our own products, which is where the engineering comes from. If your business needs something a website can't do, we can build that too.

  • Fixed — time-blocking app, live
  • Creo — business formation, live
  • Custom tools, dashboards and integrations

Pricing

Build it once. Keep it alive.

Every site is a one-off build fee plus a monthly plan that covers hosting and changes. Domains are billed at cost — typically $12–$25 a year depending on the name.

    Maintenance plans

    What the monthly covers.

Hosting, SSL, backups and uptime are in every plan. What changes between them is how much of your site changes.

    PlanMonthlyWhat it's for
Care $149 Up to 15 changes a month. Hours, prices, photos, small copy edits, Google reviews and photos kept synced. The plan most small businesses need.
Active $249 20–25 changes a month. New media every other week, bigger edits, multiple pages in play, posts synced from your social accounts onto the site.
Growth $349 Everything in Active, plus monthly AI-assisted SEO — keywords and page content revisited each month against what's actually shifting in your market. Required with the Booking package.
Concierge $425 Everything in Growth, plus the FAQ chatbot — monitored, retrained on real questions each month, and routed to you when it can't answer. Required with the Assistant package.
Beyond that Custom More than 25 changes a month, heavy social syncing, or several sites under one business — scoped and quoted properly rather than squeezed into a plan that doesn't fit.
    How it works

    Mockup first. Money after.

You see the site before you commit to it. Nothing is due until there's something real to look at.

    01

    We talk, then we draw

A short conversation about the business, then a mockup of the actual site — your photos, your words, your layout. No cost to get here.

You approve it, 30% starts it

Happy with the mockup? A 30% deposit puts it into build. Not happy? Walk away and owe nothing at all.

Built properly, tested on real phones, wired to your domain. Bigger sites take longer — we'll tell you how long before you pay anything.

    Live, and looked after

The remaining 70% is due at launch, and the monthly plan begins. From then on the site is ours to keep working and yours to change whenever you want.

    70% + monthly
    The deposit is non-refundable

Once you've approved the mockup and paid the 30%, that covers the design work already done. If you stop the project after that, the 30% is kept as a creation fee. Before you approve it, you owe nothing — which is the point of showing you the mockup first.

    Six-month minimum on maintenance

Maintenance runs a six-month minimum term from launch. A site needs a few months of real traffic and real updates before anyone can say it's working. After six months it's month to month.

    You can buy it outright

After the six months you can carry on, or buy the site outright — price quoted at the time, based on what's been built. You get the code and take over hosting and updates from there. It's your business; you shouldn't be locked to us forever.

    Our own product · live
    Time-blocking, rebuilt for execution

    One task.
    One timer.
    No list to argue with.

Most planners are good at capturing intentions and useless at the moment you actually have to start. Fixed shows exactly one block at a time — what you're doing now, how long is left, and nothing else competing for the decision.

It scores a day at 85%, not 100%, so one missed block doesn't void the week. When the day slips, one tap reflows everything flexible around the parts that can't move — classes, shifts — instead of leaving a plan that's already wrong.

This is the kind of thing we build when a website isn't the answer.

    Creo

    Business formation, without the busywork

    Start a real business.
    Skip the paperwork.

Creo takes the parts of starting a business that stall people — the filing, the email, the address — and does them on the owner's behalf. It registers the business name through a licensed partner, creates and manages the @yourbusiness inbox so nobody has to set up Google Workspace themselves, and sources the office: a virtual one for a legal address, or a real physical space found and secured for them.

The intake is a branching path, not a form — each answer decides what comes next, so a mobile plumber and an online shop never see the same questions.

    About

FLX Create LLC is an independent studio founded and run by Jose Flores in Los Angeles.

The studio started by building software — Fixed, a time-blocking app, and Creo, which takes the paperwork of starting a business off the person starting it. Building products from nothing is where the engineering came from, and it's why the websites aren't templates with a logo swapped in.

The web work came out of watching small businesses get sold a site once and then left with it — a page still listing last year's hours, photos from an old menu, a phone number nobody answers. A site that isn't maintained stops being an asset within a year. So we build it and then keep it current, which is the part most people can't do for themselves.

Alongside the studio, Jose runs floor and inventory operations at Tacos Poncitlán, a family restaurant, and is completing coursework at Pasadena City College toward a transfer to USC. That's also where the small-business perspective comes from — it isn't theoretical.
